A traditional
atmosphere has been thoughtfully recreated in the Legh Arms, Knutsford.
Sitting
on the corner of Brook St and Legh
Rd, one of the major
routes into Knutsford, the Legh Arms continues to greet visitors
to the village as it has done since the 16th Century. One of the
oldest landmarks in the village the pub was known back in the 16th
Century as the Sword & Serpent, and to the
day still offers the perfect base from which to explore the history
and facilities of Knutsford. Set in its own grounds with ample
parking, plenty of outdoor seating and space to relax and enjoy
the range of food and drink on offer.
| Inside, The Legh Arms manages to combine
the warm friendly atmosphere of a traditional country pub with
a modern decor that is light and airy, with plenty of room
to accommodate the biggest family! The atmosphere is friendly
and relaxed with the service delivered professionally. The
New Team, Richard and Suzy,
have worked hard to ensure that the Legh is a family friendly
environment and children are very welcome in the dining area.
Food is served lunch 12-3pm and evening
6-9pm Tuesday
to Friday, Satiurday 12-9pm and Sunday 12-6pm,
with
Woods the butchers traditional roast rib of beef or rolled shoulder
of lamb. |
