Sitting on the corner of Brook St and Legh Rd, one of the major routes into Knutsford, the Legh Arms continues to greet visitors to the village as it has done since the 16th Century. One of the oldest landmarks in the village the pub was known back in the 16th Century as the Sword & Serpent, and to the day still offers the perfect base from which to explore the history and facilities of Knutsford. Set in its own grounds with ample parking, plenty of outdoor seating and space to relax and enjoy the range of food and drink on offer.

Inside, The Legh manages to combine the warm friendly atmosphere of a country pub with a modern decor that is light and airy, with plenty of room to accommodate the biggest family! The atmosphere is friendly and relaxed with the service delivered professionally. The New Management Team have worked hard to ensure that the Legh is a family friendly environment and children are very welcome in the dining area, football suite and of course in the grassed outdoor areas! Based on over 25 years experience the Chef has complemented the traditional bar/snack menu with a more substantial menu of home-cooked and freshly prepared dishes using fresh, local produce.

Food is served lunch (12-3) and evening (6-9) Mon-Saturday and
12-6 on Sunday, with the full range of dishes from on offer at all times, complemented by the traditional roast of course on a Sunday! Dishes available range from Homemade Crab & Prawn Fishcake with a Lemon Mayonnaise, Baked Fillet of Smoked Haddock with mussel broth to Homemade Chilli and Beer Battered Cod, Chips & Mushy Peas.
