Egerton Arms, Chelford - Truely worth a visit

The Egerton Arms is a traditional family run pub in Chelford, serving real ales and quality meals. there are low beams, big fireplaces, bizarre antiques and a long bar with old brass pumps. as well as being a popular haunt for the regular locals, the pub also features a fully equipped 100 seater restaurant with friendly table service which attracts people from all over. All food is sourced locally by our experienced and very dedicated chef. the menu is a selection of classic pub favourites alongside the chef's more 'interesting' specials board.

At the bar Golden Pippin, Wells Bombadier, Speckled Hen and Spitfire were proof that this was indeed a free house, offering an
array of ales now being able to suit

the palates of its customers. For those more discerning palates, Dalwhinnie 15 year old Highland Single Malt Whisky was displayed with flair and a reverence for the tipple

Outside at the back of the Egerton Arms there is a beer garden with large tables for families and raised decking areas with views over the fields. A grassed lawn is well kept and a large purpose built barbecue for an enthusiastic chef is used for weekend outdoor events when the weather allows.

Entertainment features include quizz nights, traditional jazz and live music nights. Jeremy the landlord is happy to celebrate his birthday with his customers.

Whether you are just passing by, or going to the Chelford Market and fancy a pint and a meal this an establishment where you will made to feel welcome in a traditional pub environment and as the Landlord is also the owner; your satisfaction is their sole aim.
